Cyprus should reclaim high-revenue tourism, rethink Central European strategy, professional says

Cyprus manoeuvred itself into a less lucrative sector of the international tourism business after it neglected high revenue niche markets as well as Central Europe, an industry professional said.

As a result, Cyprus as a destination “became very seasonal,” Christophe Chaillou, managing director of the Limassol-based Creative Tours, said in an interview during which he had to answer urgent calls related to the situation caused by the Cyprus Airways failure.
