Limassol car bomb

A bomb blast caused extensive damage to a car belonging to a 73-year-old man from a Pelendri, Limassol, police said on Friday.

No one was injured in the blast, which occurred just after midnight.

Police said it was caused by an improvised high-explosive device, and it damaged the front end of the man’s vehicle.

The explosion also shattered the glass windows of an adjacent dwelling.
