Lost in old music

By Maria Gregoriou

For those of us who still remember what it was like to put a record on the turntable (or a gramophone record or vinyl record, to be more exact and to the point), the Tubo Cocktail Wine Bar in Nicosia will be hosting the second Vinyl Market from 12pm today until 6pm.

There will be plenty of records on display, ( English and Greek) so you are sure to take a wonderful journey through decades of music.

While browsing through the records, and surely humming a few of the tracks on the records you find while maybe doing a little boogie woogie, you can also enjoy a coffee or other beverage.

All records start from €2 and they are also rare, so a great addition to any collector’s stash. And as we all know (well, those of us who are lucky enough to have heard the sound of a record) the music has much more character, and an acoustic feel in general.
