Moscow wants to broaden relations with Cyprus in all areas, Russia’s ambassador said on Friday, ahead of President Nicos Anastasiades’ “very important” visit on Tuesday.
Speaking after a meeting with Anastasiades, Stanislav Osadchiy said the visit was “very important for both Russia and Cyprus considering the current situation on the international stage.”
Τhe two men discussed the upcoming trip, which the ambassador said would be “very successful.”
The two countries are expected to sign a series of bilateral agreements in the sectors of trade, energy, tourism, education, science, commercial shipping, telecommunications, agriculture and stockbreeding.
The ambassador said Moscow wanted to broaden relations with Cyprus in all sectors.
