Sylikiotis goes to Palestine

AKEL MEP Neoklis Sylikiotis left for Palestine on Tuesday to take part in the European Council’s Delegation for discussions with the Palestinian Legislative Council.
The delegation, which will remain in Palestine until Thursday, aims to record the humanitarian needs and support the necessary measures for a solution to the Palestinian problem.
The MEPs, headed by the delegation’s chairperson Martina Anderson, will meet with representatives of the Palestinian authority, organisations, civil society groups and members of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
