Fuel price survey released

The consumer protection service of the commerce ministry on Wednesday released the latest survey on fuel prices at 262 petrol stations islandwide, which are available on its website The tables are in Greek.

According to the results, which refer to prices on March 16 from the cheapest to the most expensive for unleaded 95, unleaded 98, and heating oil and kerosene.

The ministry said the average retail price of unleaded 95 on the date in question stood at €1.245 per litre compared to € 1.417 per litre on the same date in 2014.

Also the average price of heating oil stood at €0.845 per litre compared to €1.026 on the same date last year.

Consumers can also be advised on the cheapest gas stations via the free Consumer Helpline 1429.
