Bakery robbed in Limassol (Updated)

Some offenders had no cash registers

A robber stole an undisclosed sum of money from a bakery in Limassol in the early hours of Thursday at knifepoint, police said.

According to police, the man went in the bakery at around 2.20am pretending to buy a loaf of bread. When he approached the register the man took out a knife, threatened the female employee and took all the money in the drawer.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for a 28-year-old man who it is believed stole €300 from the till.
