Larnaca kiosk robbed

Two men stole €700 and a mobile phone from a Larnaca convenience store after assaulting the female employee, police said on Saturday.

The incident took place at 6pm on Friday on Profitis Elias Street in the Livadhia area. One of the men grabbed the 22-year-old employee from the throat and tied her hands while the other stole the cash the phone, police said.

Police said the two men had not covered their faces. The store has security cameras in place.
