Man uses car to burgle bank

A man tried to rob a bank in Limassol during the early hours of Wednesday morning by driving into the back door, police said.

According to police, the man smashed the glass at the co-op in Parekklisia using a car shortly before 3am. The man, who appeared to work alone, went into the bank but came out empty-handed shortly afterwards.

He got into the car and fled the scene.
