Jet2 launches Glasgow and Newcastle flights from Larnaca on Wednesday announced two new routes – Glasgow and Newcastle – from Larnaca.

The Larnaca-Glasgow route commenced on Wednesday and the Larnaca-Newcastle route will commence on May 27.

Each route will be operated once a week, every Wednesday. The Glasgow and Newcastle routes are also available from Paphos airport twice a week; every Wednesday and Saturday and every Wednesday and Sunday respectively. also connects both Larnaca and Paphos, with East Midlands (Nottingham), Leeds Bradford (Yorkshire) and Manchester.

Wes Porter, Chief Executive Officer of Hermes Airports, welcomed the expansion of and the new routes and noted that “the strengthening of the air connectivity between Cyprus and Britain is a key element in the effort to recover the tourist arrivals from the United Kingdom to Cyprus.”
