Lenders finalise sixth programme update with Cyprus government

The heads of the Troika’s (European Commission, European Central Bank, and International Monetary Fund) Cyprus delegation have been meeting with Finance minister Harris Georgiades since early this morning as part of the sixth review of the country’s economic adjustment programme.

Today’s meeting involves general discussion on the programme’s fiscal, macroeconomic, and structural reform aspects.
