‘Applying the winning principles of sports in business’

Murray Eldridge, who rowed for Great Britain at Junior World Championship and has 30 years of international business experience, is holding a free seminar on Wednesday called “Leading High Performance: Applying the Winning Principles of Sports Coaching in Your Organisation.”

During the event, scheduled to start at 6pm, Eldridge wants to introduce “a more effective style of leadership – and ‘followership’ – into companies that will move them from average to high performance.”

He has won at Henley and national rowing competitions, spent years coaching competitive athletes and since completing his career as a captain aged 29, ran companies in China, Singapore and UK in oil and gas, telecoms and water sectors.

He is a shareholder in a desalination company, runs a consultancy company and carries out Board Evaluations under the Governance Code amongst many other activities.

Attendees are asked to arrive to the Bank of Cyprus Headquarters in Ayia Paraskevi at 5.45pm for a prompt 6pm start and will be followed by drinks at 7:30pm.
