An unidentified man wielding a 12-centimetre knife threatened passers-by outside Larnaca’s GSZ stadium around noon on Wednesday, a police report said.

Later on Wednesday, the stadium will host the Cyprus Football Cup Final between Nicosia’s APOEL and Limassol’s AEL.

According to the report, around noon Wednesday a man aged between 35 and 40 waved at a number of cars passing outside the stadium, and threatened them with a knife.
