Police investigating road shooting

A 23-year-old man reported to police that he was shot at while driving from Lakatamia to Tseri at 11pm on Sunday.

The man said while on Tseri Avenue, he was approached by a motorcycle whose passenger fired two shots at him with what is believed to be a sawed-off hunting shotgun.

The shots damaged the windshield but failed to hit the 23-year-old who sustained minor abrasions from the broken glass.

Police said they were treating the incident as attempted murder.
