Bank of Cyprus posts €29m in net earnings in Q1 (Updated)

Bank of Cyprus said it posted a €29m after-tax profit in the first quarter of 2015 compared to a €107m loss in the fourth quarter of 2014 and €31m in the first quarter of 2014.

The first quarter earnings includes a €21m loss from disposal groups from sale and discontinued operations, mainly related to the Russian operations, the lender said in a statement today.
