Arrested on suspicion of theft

A man was arrested in Paphos in the early hours of Tuesday for illegally carrying knives, and on suspicion of having stolen property in his possession.

In a body search police conducted at about 1am, they found two pocket knives 7cm and 8cm long as well as two expensive brand watches. He held a passport that was not his, a bag with three cans of dog food, baby diapers and a car sound amplifier, police said.
