Jewellery and cash taken from hotel room

Over €7,000 in cash and jewellery were stolen from a Russian tourist’s hotel room in Ayia Napa, she reported to police on Sunday night.

The 34-year-old woman said €1,500, 25,000 roubles, two gold watches, four gold necklaces, two crosses, rings and a camera all worth €5,700 were stolen from her room.

Ayia Napa police are investigating the case.
