Car bomb in Limassol

A bomb placed on a car in Limassol exploded in the early hours of Monday, police said.

The explosive device was placed on the bonnet of a car belonging to a 47-year-old parked outside his apartment building. It went off around 2.40am.

It caused extensive damage to the front of the car and also damaged another parked next to it.
