Man says he was beaten up by bouncers

A 38-year-old man in Limassol reported he was beaten up by night club security guards in the Amathunda area.

At about 2am on Saturday he noticed his friend engaged in a heated discussion with someone else at the club, who eventually hit him in the face when he tried to intervene.

The bouncers took him outside using force and about four or five of them punched him and threw him to the ground kicking him, he told the police.

He was taken to Limassol General Hospital where doctors said he suffered bruises and scratches in different parts of his body.
