Burglary nets around €13,000 in valuables

A foreign resident reported to police that her home in Chlorakas, Paphos had been burgled and close to €13,000 of valuables and cash were stolen, police said on Friday.

The woman, a Russian national, told police that the theft took place between 6pm and 7pm on Thursday.

She said cash, jewellery, and electronic equipment worth €12,720 were stolen.

Investigators said the thief, or thieves, broke into the home through a sliding aluminium door.
