Grenade thrown at Limassol home

A hand grenade was thrown at the home of a 40-year-old man in Limassol in the early hours of Saturday, police said.

The blast, which went off at 1.30am, caused extensive damage to the covered parking area of the residence, and the homeowner’s car and garage door. Police gathered evidence from the scene and are investigating.
