Kasoulides off to Japan

Foreign Minister Ioannis Kaoulides was heading for Japan on Monday as part of the government’s agenda to enhance and deepen its bilateral relations with Asian countries and the further development of cooperation with these countries in the multilateral level, it was announced on Monday.

The visit will last until July 9 during which time Kasoulides will have a meeting and a working dinner with his Japanese counterpart, Fumio Kishida, in which they will discuss bilateral relations, Japan-EU relations, as well as regional issues of common interest.

He will also meet the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the House of Representatives of Japan and the Secretary General of the Japan-Cyprus Parliamentary Friendship Group.
