Money transfer shop robbed in Paphos

A man robbed a money transfer branch in Paphos on Monday, taking off with around €1,500, police said.

The incident on Ellados Avenue happened at around 12.30pm. The young man, who spoke broken Greek, went into the shop and attacked the worker, police said. He took the cash from the till and fled the scene on foot.

Police said the perpetrator is between 30 and 35-years-old.
