Employer arrested for alleged sexual harassment

A 54-year-old man from Kofinou, Larnaca working as a hotel manager, was arrested on Tuesday night after an employee reported to police he had sexually harassed her for over two years.

The woman, aged 41, from Moldova, who lives in Kiti, said that between March 2013 and August 2015 when she worked as a waitress at a hotel in the area, her manager used to sexually harass her.

She was verbally harassed by him, she told police, and there were two instances of alleged indecent assault against her.
