More remains found at Trahonas

The tally of people whose remains have been found at the Trachonas site, the area behind the Central Prisons at Ayios Dhometios, Nicosia, now stands at eleven, the Greek Cypriot member of the Committee on Missing Persons (CMP) Nestoras Nestoros said on Saturday.

According to Nestoros, digging operations will continue as normal over the weekend.

He added that, in addition to combat and civilian clothing, other items have been identified.

Nestoros is expected to make a statement on the discoveries on Monday.
