Man found shot in Paphos

Paphos police on Thursday were investigating a shooting incident, which saw a 26-year-old Georgian man hospitalised.

The man was shot in the groin area but his condition was stable and not life threatening.

He was found in the yard of an apartment building in the Paphos Mall area.

Police were treating the incident as attempted murder. The man could not immediately provide any information, but officers found out that a fight had taken place with other Georgian nationals before the shooting.
