Aradippou thefts

JEWELLERY worth €12,000 was stolen from a house in Aradippou on Friday morning.

The owner of the house reported to police that she was absent from her home between 9.30 and 10.30am. During that time, unknown persons entered the house and stole the jewellery.

Another burglary took place in Aradippou before 8am in the morning.

Various tools worth €2,080 were stolen from a 2-year-old mechanic’s workshop.

The owner told police that when he went to work around 8am, the door of the workshop was broken. Upon entering, he found that various items including car paint pistols had been taken.

In both cases, the stolen items are not covered by insurance and the premises had no video surveillance.
