Roadworks in Strovolos next week

The Ministry of Transport announced that between Monday and Thursday next week works will take place at the Eleonon Avenue and Kilkis road intersection in Strovolos.

According to the announcement, during the construction works the following traffic arrangements will apply:
– On Monday, Kilkis Street will be closed to traffic from 8.30am. Traffic in Eleonon Street, will be uninterrupted on both directions.

Eleonon Street with direction from Spyros Kyprianou Avenue towards Nicosia will close to traffic at 8.30am on Tuesday and will remain closed until Thursday. Kilkis Street will remain closed to traffic.

The announcement recommends that motorists driving to Nicosia can do so through Strovolos Avenue and Evzoni road.

The traffic on Eleonon Street with direction from Nicosia to Spyros Kyprianou Avenue (JUMBO store) will be uninterrupted.

“The Public Works department apologises for the inevitable inconvenience caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and patience and to comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the police,” an announcement said.
