Arson of driving school lorry

A large lorry owned by a driving school was severely damaged by arson early Tuesday in Nicosia.

According to police reports, the fire broke out on the lorry while it was parked on Tseri Avenue in Nicosia at around 4.15am.

The fire, which was put out by the fire service, damaged the cab extensively and part of the cargo area. Damage is estimated to be around €8,000.

Following investigations, the fire service announced that it was arson.
