Man jailed for threatening police officer

A 23-year-old man from Paralimni was jailed for four months after he was found guilty of threatening a police officer.

The man had threatened to hurt a drug squad officer and his children if he dared to investigate him again. The incident took place in September last year.

Before that, the officer had taken part in a search of the man’s home.
