Central bank asks Co-ops to restructure €1bn in 2015

The Cooperative Central Bank is stepping up the pace in order to restructure at least €1bn of its increasing non-performing exposures by December, which amounted in June to almost €7.6bn, a task made challenging because of the characteristics of its loan portfolio, which is already paying off, a co-op manager said.
