Music is all around

By Maria Gregoriou

The Greek music scene will be just popping with choice on Tuesday when Nicosia, Larnaca and Limassol will welcome some of the best-known artists in Greece today.

Starting with Limassol, the ladies who will take to the stages are Iro and Peggy Zina.

Iro is known to not go with the musical flow and prefers to perform a diverse repertoire. The singer will be accompanied by a piano, making this choice one for those who prefer their night life scene a little on the quieter side.

Now for Zina, not at all like Iro, this singer is known for getting everyone on their feet and if you just happen to be handed a carnation, just go with it and throw.

In Larnaca Natasa Theodoriou will perform at Lush Beach Bar for a night of Laika and pop songs. Theodoriou is the only female artist to have her first three albums go platinum.

The only man and rocker on the list is Stelios Rokkos, who will be rocking the capital at the Pavilion hall.

Rokkos writes and orchestrates most of his songs. Apart from his rock persona, Rokkos is also well known for his romantic songs – so this could be date night sorted.
