Bad cheques in decline, Central Bank of Cyprus says

The number of bad cheques fell 47 per cent in October to 82, compared to the respective month of 2014, while their respective value fell to €53,139 which is almost one third of what it was a year before, the Central Bank of Cyprus said.

In January to October, the total number of reported bounced cheques was 1,295, which is one-third less compared to the respective period a year before, the Central Bank of Cyprus said in a statement on its website.
