Q3 fiscal surplus shrinks 39% to €132m, Cystat says

The government’s fiscal surplus in July to September fell to €132m, 39 per cent below the respective figure of 2014, mainly on reduced revenue, the statistical service said.

Overall revenue in the third quarter fell 4.5 per cent compared with a year before to below €1.8bn, while overall government expenditure rose 0.1 per cent to well below €1.7bn, Cystat said in a statement on its website on Friday.
