Prison guard caught with synthetic marijuana

A PRISON warden was on Thursday placed under arrest after police found he was carrying hundreds of grams of synthetic marijuana.
Undercover Drug Squad officers stopped and searched the man just outside the Nicosia Central Prisons, where he works.
On him, police found hundreds of grams of a synthetic weed brand, known as ‘dream’.
Police believe the warden intended to bring the drugs into the prisons and distribute to inmates.
The Drug Squad was investigating possible accomplices.
