Two men, 40 and 27, were injured early on Saturday morning, after the 27-year-old lost control of his car and crashed into the car driven by the 40-year-old.
According to a police report, at around 3:30 am Saturday, the 27-year-old was driving in Yermasoyia, Limassol but lost control and veered into a railing, damaging two palm trees before entering the opposite lane of traffic and crashing into the 40-year-old’s car.
The younger man sustained serious injuries, while the 40-year-old was only lightly hurt.
Both were rushed to the Limassol general hospital, where the 27-year-old was diagnosed with head and spinal injuries.
Due to the seriousness of his condition, he was transferred to the Nicosia General for further treatment.
Limassol traffic police continues to investigate the case.
