Kiosk burgled in Yeroskipou

Thieves broke into a kiosk on Makarios Avenue in Yeroskipou in Paphos in the early hours of Sunday and stole 2,500 euros from the cash till, police said.

The theft was captured on CCTV camera but the perpetrators wore masks. The owner of the kiosk was alerted at around 4am when the alarm at the kiosk went off and he immediately notified the police.

Investigations showed the thieves had broken in through the back door.
