Ireland’s Taoiseach Enda Kenny on brief stopover, meets Kasoulides

Later today President Anastasiades will meet with Irish Prime Minister Taoiseach Enda Kenny

Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides met on Monday night at Larnaca Airport with Ireland’s Taoiseach Enda Kenny, who passed though Cyprus en route to Tel Aviv.

According to an official announcement Kasoulides briefed the Irish Premier on developments on the Cyprus issue and compared efforts to solve the Cyprus problem with the Good Friday Peace Agreement in Northern. Ireland.

The two also discussed the main issues facing the European Union, and exchanged views on developments in the region and the crisis in Syria.
