TEPAK launches occasional studies programme

The Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK)

The Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK) on Tuesday launched its Occasional Studies programme which gives the opportunity to all residents of the island to take undergraduate and graduate level courses.

In an announcement, TEPAK said the main objective was the “enrichment of knowledge, skills and experience of participants through attendance in a modern and high-quality learning environment”.

Occasional Studies attendants will have the same academic obligations and rights of the university’s students. Tuition fees are set to €80 per ECTS and each course varies between three to eight ECTS. The offered courses range between oenology, computer science, shipping, tourism, geology, media, environmental technology, and nursing.

Eligible to participate in the programme are all residents of Cyprus with a high-school diploma and who have very good knowledge of Greek.

Deadline for applications is January 13. The spring semester begins on January 18 and the duration of courses is 13 weeks plus the exams period. Upon completion of the course, attendants will be given a certificate and transcripts of the courses they took.
