Missing pensioner found

Limassol General Hospital

A 67-year-old resident of Paphos who went missing on New Year’s Day was found and was in good health in the early morning hours on Thursday.

Iacovos Christodoulou was reported missing on January 1 by his daughter and Paphos police have been looking for him since.

Christodoulou was seen on January 2 in the Yeroskipou area.

At around 2am on Thursday, Christodoulou approached police officers at the Limassol’s general hospital.

He told police that he is in good health and was in Limassol for personal reasons.

When his daughter reported his disappearance she said he faced health problems and had undergone heart surgery.
