Speeding teen had no licence

A 16-year-old was charged in writing after he was caught speeding on the Paphos-Limassol highway without a valid driver’s licence, police said on Monday.

His mother, 38, who was in the passenger seat, was also charged in writing and released.

They were stopped close to the Timis exit when police found they were speeding at 125km/h instead of 100 km/h.
