Saloon registrations rise 20% in 2015, Cystat says

Saloon car registrations rose 20 per cent in 2015 compared to the year before to 21,462 after rising 53 per cent to 1,839 alone in December, the statistical service said.

Registrations of brand new saloons in 2015 rose 22 per cent to 10,078 compared to a year before, Cystat said in a statement on its website on Thursday. The number of second hand saloon registrations rose last year an annual 18 per cent to 11,384

In December, the total number of new and second hand saloons registered rose 65 per cent to 916 and 43 per cent to 923, Cystat said.
