On Thursday, Gallery Gloria in Nicosia will open the solo exhibition by Christos Avraam entitled The Long Journey.
In his second solo exhibition Avraam addresses the issues of displacement of a population and refugees. In this journey, refugees are in search of a better life for themselves and their children.
The work on display is not solely directed at the current situation of thousands of refugees crossing the Mediterranean in search of the promised land, it also represents the journey that we all take to take on new challenges.
Avraam has worked with a number of media to complete the final expression of this journey. The exhibition’s curator is Efi Kyprianidou and it will be introduced by archeologist and art historian Anna Marangou.
