Coffee and jazz

Tomorrow Israeli jazz guitarist Ofter Ganor will be joined by the Irenaeos Koulouras contemporary Jazz Trio in Paphos for an evening of acoustic delight.

Ganor studied at Berklee College of Music and at the Thelonious Monk Institute. After completing his studies he moved to New York where he played in many clubs and concerts with musicians, such as Dwayne Eubanks, Peter Bernstein and Liz Diamond.

In 2000 he returned to Israel where he has worked with many local artists and has taught music. He has given master classes in Israel, Cyprus and France.

The guitarist has recorded his debut CD as a solo artist entitled Solo Guitar, featuring his original compositions for guitar. He is also working on two more projects which are soon to hit the music scene.

Ganor will be joined by Irenaeos Koulouras on double bass, George Krasides on the saxophone and George Koulas on the drums.
