Local bands are really taking to the stage lately, giving us choice and the chance to get up close and personal with those involved… which is obviously all the better for us.
The rock band Cashiers from Larnaca will play in their hometown on Saturday at Savino Live, where the four musicians will show that even though they may be categorised as being a rock band they really do have every music lovers needs in mind.
The band, formed in 2011, cover songs that they find interesting, and right now that interest points towards Greek and English tunes with a progressive pop-rock sound.
Cashiers was made for the stage as they “adore” live performances and have never really stopped putting on shows since they came together.
They have been the opening act for many a Greek band that has come to our shores, some include Pyx Lux at the Riverstock Festival in Limassol, for Locomondo at Diaxroniki music stage in Nicosia and for Melisses at the Ayia Napa Beer Lovers Festival in Ayia Napa.
The band members, Demetris Elia, Andreas Tserkezos, Mike Fotiou and Marios Andreou, are sure to get you rocking on Saturday so be there and let your hair down.
Live performance by the band. February 20. Savino Live, Larnaca. 10.30pm. €5. Tel: 99-860304
