Saloon registrations rise 13% in January to post-crisis record

The number of saloon cars registered in January rose an annual 13 per cent to 2,034, which was the highest number since November 2011, the statistical service said.

The number of new saloon cars registered in January rose an annual 26 per cent to 1,065 and made up 52 per cent of total registrations, Cystat said.

Total vehicle registrations rose in the first month of the year an annual 15 per cent to 2,362, Cystat said.
