Police arrest three in connection with possession of forged passports

Police arrested three Vietnamese nationals on Wednesday afternoon in connection with possession of forged Chinese passports.

The three, a 17-year-old woman and two men aged 25 and 34, used the passports to travel from Larnaca to Milan on February 21.

Italian authorities discovered that the documents were forged and sent the trio back to Cyprus.

They were arrested at Larnaca airport upon their arrival.
