Trilateral Cyprus-Greece-Israel meeting at House

THE House of representatives on Thursday hosted the first trilateral meeting of Parliamentary Committees on Foreign Affairs of Cyprus – Greece – Israel, which discussed substantive and practical aspects of cooperation between the three countries.

The meeting took place on the initiative of the President of the Parliamentary Committee for Foreign and European Affairs, Averof Neophytou. The Heads of the Committees of the three countries as well as the members attend the meeting.

The participants discussed trilateral cooperation and issues of common interest. Cyprus wants such meetings to take place annually.

The Greek and Israeli delegations were also received by President Nicos Anastasiades and House Speaker Yiannakis Omirou. Bilateral meetings between delegations of Cyprus and Greece and Cyprus and Israel also took place and Neophytou hosted a dinner in honour of the participants. (CNA)
