Arson attack on sandwich van in Paphos

A sandwich van was extensively damaged an arson attack early on Tuesday in Paphos.

According to police reports, the fire was set at around 4.50am. The van was parked in Kato Paphos. The fire, which was put out by members of the fire service, caused around €7,000 worth of damage. Both police and the fire services ruled it was arson.

The business, according to the van’s owner, had been closed for some time.
