Fishy burglary in Timi

Burglars in the Timi area of Paphos not only stole 180 euros in cash from a restaurant overnight but also got away with cuttlefish, prawns and sorghum worth hundreds more.

The owner of the tavern told police that 10kg of cuttlefish worth 130 euros, prawn worth 80 euros and sorghum worth 150 euros was stolen by the thieves, plus the cash from the till.

Officers from Kouklia station went to the restaurant and found that the culprits had broken in through a door. The investigation was continuing.
